In a move to spread peace, goodwill and healthy lifestyles worldwide, the Sporting Goods Manufacturers Association (SGMA), North Palm Beach, Fla., signed an agreement with the U.S. State Department to ship sports products to overseas Peace Corps posts twice a year. People want to feel appreciated, and it feels good to pass it along. Informal get-togethers add to the sense of community and give you an opportunity to develop more rapport. Be outgoing and interested in other people. Ask them about themselves and learn something new. This is also a great time to analyze your database.
